Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at North Carolina State University.

My research examines how technology, policy, and market conditions shape agricultural and food systems. I am particularly interested in food supply chain resilience, agricultural technology adoption, controlled environment agriculture, commodity markets, and the economics of food and agricultural policy. My work combines applied economic analysis with interdisciplinary collaboration to better understand how producers, firms, and policymakers respond to uncertainty and emerging challenges.

Through my research and teaching, I strive to generate practical insights that support more resilient, efficient, and sustainable food systems. Whether investigating the value of traceability, the adoption of controlled environment agriculture, or the impacts of agricultural policy on commodity markets, my goal is to produce research that is both academically rigorous and relevant to real-world decision makers.
